Createx Illustration Colors

Createx Illustration Colors
Createx Illustration colors are highly pigmented colors especially suitable for use at low pressure and the finest nozzles. The colors dry matte.
Illustration, Lifeline and Bloodline colors are transparent, the Opaque colors have better coverage right out of the bottle.
Illustration colors are unique because the final cure is delayed for 48 hours, giving you the opportunity for all kinds of subtle eraser and scratch techniques, ideal for portrait work.
After that time the colors can be softened again with an ammonia-based glass cleaner.
The colors can be sprayed straight from the bottle, but a dilution of 5-20% with Createx Reducer 4011 is recommended for a finer flow.
When using special paint on smooth surfaces, the adhesion is a lot less than e.g. with the Wicked colors. This can be critical especially if you have to tape off.
Therefore add 10% Balancing Clear per volume of paint and then prepare the paint for spraying with 5% -10% Reducer 4011
For use on hard plastics and other difficult to spray surfaces, such as metal, aluminum, brass, etc. It is recommended to use Createx 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear as an adhesion primer after drying you can then work fine with the Illustration Colors.
4050 UVLS Clear adheres to any surface except silicone.
Illustration Colors can be painted with any clear coat, also 2K it is important that the paint is thoroughly dry. Therefore, wait 72 hours before you start painting.
5092 Adhesion Promoter is a special water-based clear clear that is used to bond Illustration, Bloodline, Lifeline, or Createx Wicked and other water-based paints to latex.
Also works great as an adhesion improver for flexible plastics, leather, vinyl and more.
Spray 2 medium wet coats directly on the surface, let each coat dry in the air for 10 - 15 minutes, then apply paint.
Avoid too dry or too wet application,
5092 can also be mixed with colors and applied directly to the latex.
Mix about 25% 5092 with the color and then dilute the paint with 5% -10% Reducer 4011
This is the technique of Tim Gore, creator of Bloodline & 5092.
Experiment with mixing ratios and drying times.
